Well I read about what someone said in this forum bc my sims were in the film industry. My problem started on a Sim Friday and since they couldn't work again until Monday, I just decided to play with them until Sim Monday and go to the park where the problem was to see if it was fixed (also checked my opportunity list, nothing was related). But as I completed my opportunities, the problem went away. I don't know what the real cause was. Possibly cancel all your opportunities, or maybe turn your computer off for a bit and then try to reload again. I ultimately turned off my computer out of frustration for a few hours, and when I played again, I didn't have a problem...don't know!
I did send a message to EA customer support so try to do that too if you still have an issue.
