I used debug items all the time in Sims 4. How does Sims 3 debug compare? I don't know if we have collections in Sims 4, but I see this wiki that says we can put debug items in collections in Sims ...

You're welcome! Just to add something in case you haven't come across the info yet: if you want your gardener to find rare and special seeds without cheating, there are some other ways besides just finding them lying around in the world:
- go to the cemetery and explore the mausoleum. It's a rabbithole adventure which can sometimes give you a valuable gem or seed
- dumpster diving can also give you a seed, among other things
- in World Adventure worlds, there is sometimes a valuable seed in a treasure chest or an excavation site.
There are probably other ways that I can't think of now. And thinking about this makes me want to play a gardening Sim again!
