I put default replacements in with the regular packages and they work just fine.
I have been trying to better understand the overrides folder in both Sims 3 and 4. Only once did I see a modder require an overrides folder in Sims 4, and she did not include instructions how to do it. In the Sims 3, if I download a mod folder, it automatically comes with an overrides folder, so I take it very seriously. Maybe I take the overrides folder too seriously in Sims 3 and not seriously enough in Sims 4. I thought the games worked differently, but maybe they don't.
