The truth of the matter is that the Sims series was always meant to be somewhat cartoonish. Hyper realistic isn't necessarily the best style for them go for, especially when it comes to certain occult creatures like vampires. Not to mention a fully realistic cow plant would be nightmare fuel! The Truth of the matter is, when it comes to games like the sims, I'm more concerned with game play than art style anyway.
