Sims 3 is still better than Sims 4?
I grew up on sims 1, moved on with ease to Sims 2, and didn't hesitate to jump to Sims 3 leaving all other makes behind, but Sims 4 is such a struggle to play. I was so excited for Sims 4 to come out ...

Goodness, @Writin_Reg. I don't have 31 people in my family in total (including all extended family for both my husband and me), let alone 31 Sims players. That's a lot of folks!
Oh, oops, I forgot to comment on the actual theme of the thread. Yes, I agree, Sims 3 was/is a much better product than Sims 4. My opinion, of course.
Well I am responsible for most of them - as I loved the Sims 1 - so I went around and bought everyone the game for their birthday. It sort of became birthday or Christmas tradition to get Sims games from me. I have a lot of family - 3 natural kids, 5 foster kids that all grew up and have families - and i started the youngest girl this year on Sims 4. That is not even counting all the kids who have gotten their friends to playing the Sims game. Back in Sims 1 there was just 5 of us playing, by Sims 2 base game we had 7 - but by Sims 2 OFB we had grown to 15 players - then by Sims 3 we had 21players. Sims 3 Pet brought in 3 more that had been watching their mom play. By the end of Sims 3 we had 28 players. My youngest Son got married last May and his new wife and step daughter were right interested - so we set his wife up with Sims 3 - came Christmas I bought Sims 4 for his step daughter Jasmine. His wife's sister saw Sims 3 and she wanted it - so we added her to make 31 simmers total.
Gaming is like a common bond to my family as many members are into computing - we have several Techs in the family including my husband, programmers, graphic artist - you name it. Very tech oriented family. LOL.
