What are the pros and cons of playing Sims 3 in the Steam app vs the EA app?

If you bought the worlds from the Sims 3 store then you need to install them through the launcher just like you install other store content. I have no experience with Steam. I assume you still get the launcher with the base game.

Whether you’re using Steam or the EA App, you should be able to re-download them by logging in to your Store account via your browser and accessing your purchase history.
I put the Store content in the downloads folder in the EA folder in Documents. Yes, I have the Launcher, but not the worlds tab in Launcher. Maybe I need to download them from the store instead of copying and pasting the files into the downloads folder?
