I have a game (haven't played it in awhile but I'll get back to it some day) where my sim fell in love with her actor co-worker and they had a child together. She met another guy and married him and they ended up having a large family but she was always close to her first love.
One day I had her call and chat with him and saw this:

I was curious so I moved the camera over to his house and switched to his household. He and his wife had had an argument and they both had the 'upset' moodlet. TBH I was amazed because I never felt there was much depth to the thought bubbles but in this case he was obviously telling her over the phone about the argument he had with his wife.
