Those are some of my current favorites. Especially the girl with the wavy hair in the last pic. I love the way she turned out. :blush: I work pretty hard on every sim I make. I actually played CC free for years, so I got really used to working with the sliders and concentrating on facial structure and features.
I do think that the Sims in TS3 can look beautiful, even without CC. While I think TS4's sims are nice, I like the softness of TS3. I enjoy messing around with TS4's CAS, but I haven't created many sims that I just love, that I look at and can't wait to play. I feel that way all of the time in TS3, though for some reason. Maybe part of it has to do with the customization. The push and pull CAS may be more modern than the sliders, but a lot of other things about customization have fallen by the wayside.
You know I'm not sure what to think of the pushing and pulling. In a way I like it because it's more direct, but on the other hand it's less accurate. I tried to adjust his eyelids and instead I was changing the size of his iris, things like that.
And I don't like how they look like a drawing more than like a real human. Which is why yes....

Come on guys. We're a simming community. Sure, some might prefer Sims 3 to 4 (or vice versa) but that doesn't mean we need to argue with each other over that!
That's like me violently harrassing (with words :P) my family for not liking my favorite Sea Salt and Vinegar chips. I personally think they're amazingly delicious but they don't like the sour flavor...even though I love the fact they don't like it because that means they're less inclined to stealing it from me. It's the only way your favorite food survives a large family :naughty:
ETA: My little story could almost be called "The Parable of the Potato Chip." :D
... I do want to speak my mind about this, because I really regret they took the franchise into this direction. I don't want uncanny valley, but the cartoony approach just does spoil the experience for me. The potato chips comparison would only stand if they'd stop selling all kinds of other chips, just the sea salt and vinegar (I'm with your family by the way haha). I bet they would start complaining then.
