I still think it’s enough when you pull sliders and try to leave your comfort zone.

I don’t really mind sims having a certain recognizable look in my game either by the way, because I happen to like that look ;)
They don't look too bad although the guy to the right looks a bit pudding faced.
I don't agree about the pudding faced comment. Pudding face refers to zero slider default sims and I would say that @JoAnne65 has worked most, if all, of the sliders in that sim.
I have ;) I sometimes wonder if people actually understand what the term ‘puddingface’ stands for tbh. Indeed, the all sliders in the middle thing they did for NPC’s. It’s just their basic sim. Also, “they don’t look too bad” isn’t the subject here, the subject is can you make them look different from each other. I actually tried to make the guy on the right a bit strange faced, out of the ordinary. When I was done with him he kind of reminded me of Xavier Bardem (feature wise).

And the guy on the left isn’t meant to be a hunk either, he’s the landlord of my sim’s apartment complex and a strange guy. I’ve made heir choices in the past the readers of my stories wouldn’t agree with, because they weren’t mother’s prettiest one. But I felt a click with them I didn’t feel with their more handsome brothers or sisters. I always base the choice of my heir on that click ;) It has to be there or I don’t want to play them.
