I intensely dislike the term pudding and use the term EA sim instead. EA sims can be fixed and don't need to look at all like an EA sim if you choose to fix them. It is the same as those who are derogatory about all sims looking the same. If you choose not to tweak them of course they will all look similar and an EA sim will always look like an EA sim if you don't want to fix them. EA/Maxis expected you to change the sims to suit your style, hence the sliders to change them and the ability to build your own. Background sims don't really bother me with the way they look as my sims rarely interact with them other than buying an occasional pizza, watching the family dog chase the mailman down the block, or riding in their taxi etc. With a few tweaks Autumn and some of the others are adorable. It think it is very easy to forget what they once were when I make them mine. I will also change outfits if something is particularly hideous or bizarre.
