Sims can't interact with party guests?

So a new issue has came up in my game. When i through a party, my sims can't interact with the guests.
They just stand around and I can't do anything with them.

My sim is the guy in the vest and top hat.He tries to chat with guests and all they do is stand there.

I do have Nraas Mods installed: SP, Overwatch, Relativity, Traffic, Tempest, Debug enabler, Retuner.
I also have recipe mods installed(I doubt this would cause any issues.)

However just to eliminate the possibility, I pulled my mods folder.
And it still seems to do it.

With a new sims 3 clean folder, it only happens at home parties, community lot parties work.

  • Sorry for the late reply. Have you tried an NRaas DebugEnabler reset on the sims that don't respond? (NRaas > DE > Options: Smartphone > Object... > Reset. This clears a sim's action queue without sending them home or forcing the game to rebuild their data.

If that doesn't help, the next question I'd have is what's on your home lot that isn't on the community lots where parties do work. I've never seen this problem myself, but it does make me wonder if they're trying to interact with a certain object or "watching" something you're not noticing (without actually watching it, of course). It's difficult for me to tell what's in the open kitchen area, but for example, maybe they're all standing around a Teppanyaki Grill or similar? Anyway, you could try hosting a party on a simpler lot, even a mostly blank one, and start adding objects; or start removing objects from this lot.

I'll try that. I notice when they first come in, they all come running like they are playing tag or something, but my sim is a 5 star celeb. Not sure if this is causing issues. They are all gathered around the stove. And time before they all gathered around a bed upstairs.
