Sims in .sim vs .package files
Hello, I was wondering what's the difference when you download sims in .sim file vs .package file. I know .sim files go in the SavedSims folder and show up as premade sims. But what about sims in ....

The .package files should be inside the “The Sims 3/Downloads” folder. If not, move them and install with the Sims 3 launcher.
