Sure.
I downloaded the Nexus mod that makes the game recognize your graphic card, it’s called The Sims 3 GPU Add-on Support.
And I also changed my graphics settings (maxing out Sim detail and Texture detail, Visual effects was already maxed out).
I don’t know which of the two solved my problem tho, or if it was both since I launched the game after doing both and my sim looked good even when zoomed out.
