I use an auto romance mod that allows my sims to ask to go steady and propose marriage on their own. I prefer not to direct my sims' love lives and leave it up to them. I used to use a different version of that mod that allowed sims to marry on their own but I got sick of getting popups that my sims had married and finding them in places where I couldn't get a decent pic! I also found it frustrating that many of my teen sims would marry their boyfriends/girlfriends and I would find myself looking at the move-in window and end up with a house overrun with teens! :confounded:
