- testingcheatsenabled true, maybe?
i dont use cheats, so wouldnt know. - No such cheat exists. To raise skills, I suggest using testingcheatsenabled true then shift-click click the mailbox and 'make needs static'. Let your Sim read a gardening book or three for a day or two with no potty breaks. That should put them at level 10 ;)
- Here is another more convenient way to "cheat" to raise skill levels. It works VERY well!
#1 Set each Sim in a household to do something that will increase the skill you want them to gain(studying cooking, talking in a mirror for charisma, playing the guitar etc.)
#2 Save the game and go into edit town
#3 Switch household to another house.
#4 Play with that other house for a little while. Then leave them doing something to increase a skill that you want for them to gain as well.
#5 Save game again and go back to edit town
#6 Switch households back to your original house.
#7 Depending on how long you played the other household, your original Sims will suddenly have increased up to 9 points of the skill that you left them studying!
(#8) When you go back to the house you switched to they will also have a big increase in skill levels as well.)
This works well in cities where you are playing multiple households. Have fun!
 - I use the NRAAs Master Controller Mod.
Click on Sim > NRAAs > Master Controller > Advanced > Skill Levels
Very easy to use and convenient for making custom made townies that actually have skills and whatnot.
