That's just a technical glitch on any item page that keeps happening to me and it seems to depend on how I click through to the item.
I usually try different things and it works in some minutes. Logging out/in, going to the Sims3 homepage first, closing browser, rebooting, opening the launcher first, etc.
It might actually have most to do with how one clicks through to the item though, which is really annoying.
