On one hand I would like for there to be different types of games that sims could play together but, on the other, I dread the thought of how much time it would take for them to do so. When my sims invite friends over it's all I can do to have my sims talk with them for a while and, by the time they eat a meal and have a few chats, it's time for them to go home. I can just imagine one sim hour disappearing while everyone was taking their places just to play a game together. It's all well and good if sims visit for the whole day but a visit which lasts a few hours (which is what I would consider the perfect visit in real life) would make playing a game together impossible with the way sim time flies.
