Stopped working + graphic card help
I FINALLY bought a new PC and I've been cautiously installing necessary stuff since a few days ago and I just opened a new game now. My first problem is when I opened the game for the first time, there was a notification saying it couldn't detect my graphics card but the game will still set my graphics to the highest setting as possible. I have the GTX 1050 (and Windows 10...ugh) and I absolutely have no clue on how to make it detect it and other tech-savvy stuff like that. :s
As for my second problem, I ignored that graphics card notification and still run the game. It was just fine but I noticed that I forgot to put the resource file needed for the mods to work so I completely exited the game, downloaded the necessary file and opened the game again. The mods seemed to be working as the nointro one worked, but then when I was at the loading screen, it said that the sims 3 stopped working and just closed. I tried reopening for several times but same results. Since this happened after I activated the mods, does this mean there's a mod or CC that's corrupted or something? xD As for the mods and CCs, I just copied and pasted the ones I have from my laptop and into this new PC. xD
I looked at my sims 3 folder and I only got a weird MDMP file with a text document below it. I don't remember how my files looked when I had crashes on my laptop but I think they were different compared to this one?
But anyway, sorry for asking another yet cliche question, but I would appreciate all replies and help! Thanks in advance! :)
