Store Content failing to install!!

@Bambulka555 who did you buy the stalls from? I think you are meaning you bought them from the The Sims 3 store. It will probably be a glitch with your game I would uninstall the stalls and reinstall them.

@Bambulka555 When you have your sim interact with the fruit and veggie stand, select purchase. Once that opens, you'll see two tabs at the top of the pop up. The one to the right says "consign." If you select that, you will be able to have your sim consign his/her produce to sell through the stand.

Hello ! Since I am new to the forum and cannot post, I will tag along this post to try to find answers to a related problem.

My store content keeps disappearing. I have searched the internet and read a lot of posts but nothing seems to correct the issue. Everything worked fine for a while but now every time I launch the game the store content is gone. I do not use any mods or cc content. I purchased the game and a few DLC in August from Origin. All the DLC and related contents works normally.

This is what happens : When I open the launcher, I see the store content in the list but in the installed content there is only the Prism art studio. If I launch the game, the content is not there. The store world (Riverview is the only one I have and where I play my game) is not in the list of available worlds. If I try to load my game, I get an error message. If I go back to the launcher and try to install the store content, I get a message that it is already installed or to verify if my game is updated.....the install fails.

The only way that I am able to get the store content back is to rename the sims 3 file in My Documents, redownload all the store content, re-install it all and copy/paste my saves from the old file to the new file. I have to close the launcher and restart it again. I have to do this every single time I want to play the game and it takes over an hour. This is not a viable solution....

Here are some of the things I noticed : If I only redownload Riverview (in a new Sims 3 file), install it and look in the available worlds to start a new game it appears but if I go back to redownload/ install the rest of my store content and start a new game, Riverview is not in the list anymore. The only way it works is to redownload everything from the store (can be done item by item) and then install everything in one shot in the launcher. Also, in the launcher, the store items icons are just a kind of a cardboard box But when I redownload them the icon is of the actual item. They used to always have the item icon.

I tried to delete the files in dcccache, dccbackup and the worlds folder but that does not fix the problem.

I really hope someone can help me fix this problem. There has to be a logical explanation as the store items are there in the download folder and I should not have to redownload them every time !
