I do not see Master Controller as an option. I gather that is something else I need to install?
Edited to add: I did find Master Controller, installed it and reset my Sim. He was still showing hungry but upon eating, he was fine. That seemed to fix him.
Now, in the same family, I'm seeing pixel weirdness on the floor where my Sim was teaching her toddler to walk. I guess I should to do a town reset to see if it fixes itself. I haven't had any of these issues prior to installing nrass. I guess my game just needs to get used to it.
Thanks for the help! *back to chasing that cat off the table*
That's only to be expected. When you start putting non EA-made things in your game, like thirdparty CC and/or mods, the game will most likely become a bit more volatile and erratic.
Quote from Nichaedemus at the bottom of
this thread:"As you have installed third party content, the first troubleshooting step would be setting aside your player data files completely before relaunching the game.
If you wish to continue using third party content in your game,
what I would suggest in that case is to reduce the amount of custom content in your game especially those items that consume large amounts of system RAM.
Please note that usage of third party content is not officially supported by Electronic Arts - use at your own discretion and risk."
Hundreds of times over the years I've seen people on different forums complaining about and requesting help with all sorts of strange bugs, glitches and other unexpected unwanted things that I have never encountered in any of my games, and these people are almost always CC and/or mod users. This is the main reason why I am not.
It's of course entirely up to you what you want to do with your game, but if I was in your shoes, i e having already gone through the trouble of installing these add ons, I think I would keep using them for a while, and then evaluate the situation, and after that decide whether I think the pros outweigh the cons or not.
