Taking pics in the stylist profession

Question

My Sim is having a heck of a time getting pictures for her stylist portfolio. SOMETIMES I can get a picture fast enough and it goes to the portfolio. But more often than not, she ends up taking a picture of "Sim in the area".

What am I doing wrong here? How can I make sure that when she finishes a makeover, she is getting a picture for her portfolio?

If I'm not mistaken, you can only add unique successful jobs to your portfolio. If your sim already did the job you're taking the picture, it won't go to the portfolio.
