Tell me why "you" think it's so hard to install mods/cc?

Well, for me, I am 60 years old, and it takes me a little to understand. I have to read things many times to get a grasp of not only the immediate task I am doing, but also how to maintain it in the future. I want to be sure I'll know how to resolve any issues that might arise in the future.

It's not always that someone is lazy - sometimes it's just someone is OLD, lol.

I have recently had to install an upgraded new video card and power supply all by myself, so I am getting there.
