Temple Beneath the Falls challenge - Sims 4 - New Challenge/Story
You must have Outdoor Retreat to complete this challenge:
Back Story: In ancient Simvlakia, the people worshiped spirits of the forest and the rivers known as mavki and rusalki. Quite accidentally, a group of archaeologists came upon a secret temple to these creatures located behind a waterfall deep in the forest. They expected a huge reception from the scientific community and the ability to turn the place into a tourist attraction. What they got was a family of local women, a grandmother, mother and teenaged daughter, demanding access to the site as it was their birthright as descendants of the original priestesses of the site.
In order to awaken the full energy of the temple, there must be 7 fully initiated priestesses of the temple in residence. The priestesses must be of the bloodline. Goal of the game:
1)To create four female offspring of the original three, or more if the grandmother passes on.
2) To get all of these women/teens fully initiated. A full initiation occurs when each woman befriends the forest spirit, the Leszi (hermit of granite falls) and completes the outdoor enthusiast aspiration.
3)Once you have seven iniated priestesses you must buy the temple from the local government to preserve it as a sacred site. This means you must download a copy of the temple onto a residential lot, buy it with earned money, and move all seven priestesses in.
Rules:
Temple is to be set up as a generic lot in Granite Falls. At least two women must spend at least two days a week at the temple, in order to protect it from vandals and treasure hunters. Otherwise, your family may lead normal lives in the real world.
If male offspring are born, they need to be placed in other families (they can be visited as often as you'd like) or aged up and moved out. There will be room for only one male if you choose to keep him. It will make the game more difficult to do so. Instead, I'd suggest choosing men with homes as fathers and move the boys in with dad. That way you can intermittently play that household and make sure the kids see Mom.
You cannot rapidly age up girl children. They must skills as toddlers and 2 aspirations before you can age them artificially. Teenagers must be A students before they can be aged artificially.
You cannot have any of the women willingly become vampires. If a girl is born a vampire, that's fine. You cannot start with aliens, but if you do have alien offspring..think of them as especially blessed by the Rusalki (water spirits)
You cannot turn off aging. You cannot use ambrosia or youth potion. DO set the life span to long. DO complete the athletic aspiration to increase life-span, if so desired. A variation on this would be if you wanted to have seven generations of priestesses. Then I'd say you could use the youth potion once you were notified it was your last few days. You'd end up with a Great-great-great-great grandmother as one of the priestesses. It would definitely add to the mystique of the temple. It would also take much longer to play.
If you have two boy children in a row, you may use the 'eat strawberries and listen to pop' cheat to ensure that the next baby is a girl. You may not use it otherwise.
You cannot upgrade the temple until it's purchased and used as a residence. You can bring supplies bought from the camping store, like coolers and games.
The first woman to complete the Outdoor Enthusiast aspiration AND a second aspiration will be the High Priestess.
No CC that would affect the game. CC for aesthetic reasons is fine. No money cheats or cheats that would make the tasks easier.
I have created a temple which is in the gallery and can be downloaded for use in this challenge. It's under Temple Beneath the Falls by Ainsleyfr. DO NOT download my waterfall house build by mistake. It's not a temple. I have also created three priestesses for the challenge under the same title, Temple Beneath the Falls.
You can create your own priestesses to look any way you'd like, just make sure it's grandmother, mother and granddaughter. You can procreate with any male you'd like. You cannot adopt. The seven priestesses have to be from the same dna pool. Priestesses should all have the same priestessy outfit to wear in the temple. It can be any color. Your High priestess should have some garment to show she's different than the rest.
You can create your own temple, but it must be:
Worth at least 100,000.00 when placed
Have nothing modern or electrical, no stove, only one toilet (bushes are fine) and a temple room.
Must have water. It's a water temple. Pools, ponds, waterfalls, whatever you'd like. If you want to build a fire temple, then I think you should be allowed a stove but no bath, sink or toilet - bushes would still be fine. (you can use showers and sinks at the campsite if this is what you'd like to do.) AND remember, that the temple was hidden for hundreds of years so build something that could have easily been overlooked as a natural formation. You can explain away some by plants being cut away.
IF you want seven priests...one way to do this is build a satellite so that your men can become impregnated by aliens. I'd be interested to hear if anyone would want to try this variation. I believe you can also create men who can become pregnant. This is another possibility. Do not have men impregnate non-player characters and then move their boy children in. This takes a big part out of the game. It's hard to move the kids in with the other parent...even if they are only cartoon kids.

I'm just play testing this myself. I'd very much LOVE to hear from anyone else who might be interested in trying it. I wanted something Pagany/Goddessy in my game and this seemed like a way to do it. NOT that it needs to be played as anything more than a story. Please share photos, ideas, anything you think of. Once again, love to hear them.
