Originally this was just a save I shared on the What Happened in Your Sims 3 Game Today thread but I decided now would be a good time to give it its own thread. The first couple of updates will be very short as I didn't take many pictures and I was without internet and had a laptop that was barely running. Each post will be in it's original form unless I need to add something to them but it'll take me awhile to copy the old posts over.The family started out as the Jones family but a descendant married a Langerak, changing the family name. As of 08/19/2021, there is only one Jones member left due to resurrection.

Fawn is looking forward to being a grandmother and had to feel her daughters growing stomach. A man named Emit Relevart arrived to inform him about the future and gave him something called the Time Almanac. I wanted to try a new Sim for a while so I went with the first Sim that popped up in CAS. I changed a few things about her and randomly rolled her name. She basically is just trying to raise her spellcasting skill and painting skills, although she'll eventually master all skills from the EP's I have installed now. I changed my mind on that later on in the save. To work on her spellcasting, I had her working on converting apples to whatever items she could. This is also where she gets away from everyone to learn alchemy and painting. I'll probably expand it sometime to include a few other rooms, nothing too big.********** I got bored of the family at day 91 so I deleted the saves I backed up but luckily I restored my day 49 save and resumed the family. I had to laugh last night when I played. Emily and Christopher, both elders, took their grandchild Melanie and Christopher’s clone Christian to the pool. I sent them all to swim while Eric, Emily and Christopher’s son (also Melanie’s father) went to meet Gage Briody for an opportunity. As for his wife, she was flirting with her ex, Sam Sekemoto at home. Sam was a recent victim of a Large and In Charge elixir. I was so focused on her wish to flirt with someone other than Eric and didn’t pay any attention to the pool. The camera zoomed to the pool where Christian, only a child, drowned to death. Luckily, Emily had a Philosophers Stone and she brought him back as a ghost. I laughed though because now the family gets the negative ghost reaction sometimes.When I brought the family back from the pool, Christopher (Steel) Jones immediately began to read the ambrosia recipe. He had already maxed cooking shortly before becoming an elder as well as becoming a celebrity chef. Emily had two deathfish in a chest, she got those by converting apples. The Watcher blessed the family with one Life Fruit plant, giving them rules to only use it for emergencies. Emily, as I mentioned before, is a powerful witch but not enough to resurrect Sims. Luckily, she has a Philosophers Stone and brought Christian back as a ghost. He had to wait a few days, but the Chris clone ate the ambrosia his “father” Christopher made. A few days later, he aged up to teen and went off to boarding school. That is where I left off. Eric is almost a CEO now and his wife Fawn Ursine Jones is halfway through the music career. They are adults as of last night. Their daughter Melanie will age to teen today and she is the heir.**********Today, Christian (Christopher Steel clone) came home from boarding school. He didn’t like the one he was sent to. Chris and Emily are elders with very little time left but Chris at least started teaching his clone to drive. Eric, their son, is now a CEO but keeps getting opportunities to switch to politics. I may do that since his LTW was achieved. His wife Fawn Ursine is getting closer to her goal of being a movie composer while Melanie just became a werewolf. Daisy went to the winter festival with Hal, where they skated around the rink for a while, and had a snowball fight with the Simovitch's.

I forgot about the fun room I added to the garage and I realized that Quinton had a sculpture to finish. The finished project is this chair.

And lastly, the death in the family was Melanie Langerak. She went willingly, leaving her family heartbroken. Melanie was the only child of Eric and Fawn Jones and was turned into a werewolf as a teenager. She met a fellow student named Dwight Langerak, whom she eventually married. She took Dwight's last name and became an author, while also raising triplets. She will be missed, but her spirit will live on in the family cemetery.

When Daisy woke up, the first thing she did was cry over her grandmother again.

While eating breakfast together, Dwight discussed with Ariana the things she needs to know to take over being head of household. With Melanie gone, it was up to Dwight before he passes away.

After breakfast, Ariana decided to go visit her old friend, Cori Lucas. However, Cori was not home and only her daughter Carly was. Carly knows Ariana so she let her in.

Ariana then chatted with Carly about random things, including how she met Cori. Carly's favorite story was how Cori gifted a Forbidden Fruit to Ariana as payment for paying her college tuition all those years ago. That Forbidden Fruit became the Plantsim we all know as Daisy Langerak.

I used Ariana as a way for Robert to meet Carly for the first time. However, something he did made her made and they slightly became enemies. However, after apologizing profusely, they ended their conversation on the positive side of the relationship bar.

Back at home, it was time for Hal Breckenridges birthday. He didn't change much, except he looks a bit older. However, he'll be getting a Young Again elixir as soon as possible.

The age up happened with no issue, however, the cake glitched and wouldn't let anyone eat it. I reset it, didn't work, so I ended up making them a meal.

Daisy got her first promotion to level two of the singer career. This opened up performing on stage so she'll have her first gig soon.

A few Sims watched Daisy, who was only performing for tips today, as her concert isn't until the following day. From left to right, we have Jamil Sekemoto, who is somehow related to Quinton. Then we have Carrie Langerak, who is Evan and Rain Langerak's daughter. I forget who the third is, think she is a Riverview townie.

Lastly, Hal and Daisy had a small wedding in the front of the house. I just wanted to make sure Dwight got to witness them get married as Melanie didn't get to. I also hope Dwight gets to see his triplets become elders, which will happen next time I play.

The family has only been in Riverview for almost 4 weeks now which means that they've got at least 120 days left before I move them again. This morning, Daisy and her mother, Ariana, had a nice little chat. They are the best of friends.

As I mentioned a few posts ago, Robert's birthday was coming up and today was the day. Unfortunately, when he tried to age up, his birthday cake caught fire and nobody wanted to put it out.

Finally, I decided that enough was enough so I had Dwight put the fire out since he was closest to death. I didn't want to lose anyone, but at least he'd die the hero. Fortunately, he was successful.

Daisy was late for her concert, and by the time she got there, it was time to close the show. She got a negative moodlet and her reviews were not great. However, she completed an opportunity, and is almost ready for another promotion.

She came back from her show at the same moment that Robert was talking to Carly. Carly hasn't became a teen yet so I'm not sure if they'll be attracted to each other or not.

Robert's grades were not good so he aged up with the grumpy trait. Ariana decided to autonomously have a chat with her son, but Robert ended up insulting her. I made him instantly apologize.

It was now time for Ariana's birthday, as well as her fellow triplets, Evan and Abigail Langerak. The first guest to the party just so happened to be Evan's wife, Rain Langerak. She was married to someone else when I added her to Sunset Valley, and Evan was only a young child or younger. However, with her being a fairy, her husband died a long time ago and she fell in love with Evan.

Ariana then was the first in the family to age up. I ended up keeping her same hair and makeup, and gave her a business outfit to fit with her political career. She'll soon be Leader of the Free World so I've decided she can keep her job for a bit longer.

The game ended up aging Abigail as I wasn't able to since she left. I didn't give her back the same hair and the color isn't exactly the same but she looks good enough to me.

Evan aged up at his parents household, so I gave him a bit of a makeover. He kept his age up outfit, but I thought a mustache would look good on him as his face looked bare.

By the time Evan aged up, most of the family had left so I sent my played Sims to bed. However, I didn't realize that Michael was still there and he didn't leave until early in the morning hours.

Ariana decided to watch television with her youngest child. However, all Robert wanted to do was gripe about the high school football team. Ariana seemed like she was getting tired of listening to it.

However, he seemed much happier when he called his friend Carly. They were only acquaintances at the time, but he liked the younger girl.

Daisy had several different Sing-a-Grams to deliver. I don't even remember who this Sim is, though.

At the nearby park, Abigail and her husband Andrea were out on a romantic date. Ariana then had to sing to both of them as the game saw them flirting, and pushed the flirt Sing-a-Gram on both.

One of her last ones for the day was her uncle Evan. I believe his was celebrating his retirement or something.

Unfortunately, when the family went to bed that night, Dwight's time was up and he died in his sleep.

Most of the family made it to his beside shortly after this picture was taken, but Hal was the only one who didn't. Being a coward, that might have been a good thing.

That morning, Ariana and Daisy ate breakfast together and discussed the benefits of exercise. Ariana now is the head of the household as she is the oldest descendant in the family. Technically, Quinton is the oldest person, but Ariana is blood to Emily.

Hal had work that morning, as did Ariana. Quinton was still employed but his only thing is to have concerts anytime.

Daisy didn't have anything to do with her job in the morning so I had her work on her alchemy again. I'm not sure how much she'll use the skill, other than creating young again elixirs, but at least it will be a skill for her to work on.

Ariana finally became Leader of the Free World, but she was so upset about her dads death, she couldn't even be happy about it. I'll have her finish the week out and have her retire on the weekend.

Ariana and Quinton met outside earlier the next and they had sometime alone with each other. Neither cares too much about woohoo anymore and are just happy to be together. However, Daisy, Hal, and Robert soon came down and interrupted so the family could go to breakfast.

Ariana threw a campaign party to raise at least $10,000 for an opportunity. She was able to complete it just fine. Robert invited Carly over separately and the two of them had a nice time.

Since she was there, and because she only had one day left to age up, Robert decided to throw a birthday party for his friend.

Finally, Robert was able to get some alone time with her. They started to flirt around and soon became romantic interests. Robert decided to ask her if she'd be his girlfriend, and she said yes.

That night, Melanie came back just to meditate in her former bedroom. Both she and Dwight sit on the computer desk in the daytime, but Dwight hasn't came for a visit yet.

On Day 30 in Riverview, Quinton made breakfast for the family. I believe he has the most cooking skill, so he's probably the best option for good food.

It seems every time these two wake up, they are always talking with each other. At least this time, they had a civil conversation before Quinton called them down for breakfast.

Ariana had her first day of being Leader of the Free World ahead of her. She had that campaign party a day or two ago, so she had her performance metrics in good shape.

Quinton had a wish to raise his logic skill so I sent him over to the chess table. Daisy needed to chat with someone since her social bar was low, so I decided to have her join her father.

Once Quinton had raised his skill, and Daisy had filled her social bar up, Daisy worked on leveling up her alchemy skill and Quinton took off to the alchemy store. Luckily, he was able to buy a Young Again elixir but I still need one more.

Ariana decided that she wanted to visit her brother Michael as they hadn't seen each other in a few days.

However, Michael wasn't there so she talked to Irene instead. Irene had recently given birth to twins, Natalia and Tabitha. They didn't have any cribs in their house, though, so I had Ariana pay for them out of the Langerak family fortune. I cheated to see what the twins will look like, and they both will be pretty women when they actually age up.

Daisy had another concert, and this one went much better. I made sure to add some lighting and some scenery to make the stage look cooler. I actually kind of like how I set it up.

Right when I opened the game, it was around 7:30 by the in-game clock. I was staring at Ariana talking to Hal (Breckenridge) Langerak. Looking at everyone's needs, I saw the majority were tired and hungry. I went to check the refrigerator and saw that Quinton was already making a serving of spaghetti so I didn't have to worry about that.

Quinton finished eating his spaghetti about the time that Hal sat down. Ariana was just sitting down when Quinton got up so she didn't get to talk with her husband. Quinton answered his phone but all it was was an opportunity to dance at the Grind for three hours.

Daisy got back from performing for random Sims. She was very tired, and her social meter was in the red. I had her talk with someone just long enough to make it green again and sent her to bed.

For breakfast the following day, one of the family members made pancakes for breakfast so everyone had some before work. Robert was a bit later than anyone else and desperately needed a shower. I had him take one after, but it caused him to be late for school so Quinton had to yell at him. Also, I must have forgotten to have Robert do his homework so he spent time in class catching up on that. His grade is a B though so that isn't too bad.
