I have decided that I'd like to continue the family of Emily Jones back in Sunset Valley, where I was actually having the most fun with this save. That means that everything up to the end of page 3 and a bit on page 4 are canon in this story. However, where the family moves to Riverview will not be a part of this story. To start this story off, there will be three recap posts that I had posted on the What Happened in Your Sims 3 Game Today? thread, but without the spoilers. This way, everyone can get up to speed on where the save started, and where it is going. I'll post those in a bit, but hope you all enjoy this story.

I never had planned to share this save here, due to the fact I was having some financial issues at the time, which I won't go into except for the fact I gave up internet (and the forums) because of that. Also, my computer at the time was a laptop that was not really made to play games on. So I cut down on what EP's I would use, and created a save with Emily that would work well with it. Emily quickly became rich when an apple became a Tiberium gem. Soon after, she met and fell in love with Christopher Steel and they had a child named Eric. Sometime after Eric was older, they had another child they named Jessica.When Emily and Christopher were elders, Christopher decided to use some of the Lifetime Happiness points he received from accomplishing his Lifetime Wish to clone himself. Christian Jones was a child, due to the way cloning at the Science Lab works. By this time, Eric was married to Fawn Ursine, Jared and Claire's daughter. She was attracted to a Sim named Garry Sekemoto, who was Zelda Mae and Leighton Sekemoto's child. However, young Garry was attracted to Carina Alvi, a granddaughter to Iqbal Alvi and the Bunch's. It wouldn't matter anyhow, Melanie scared the heck out of Garry when he witnessed her transform into her werewolf form on the full moon. With the wolf taking control, Melanie ran off into the wilderness. However, those instincts told her their was a stranger at her house, so she went to investigate. He was born a supernatural fan, so that was probably why he and Melanie got along so well. Melanie even kissed him in her werewolf form, and he liked it a lot, even though she was embarrassed when she went normal in the morning. However, Melanie already had a boyfriend named Hiram Bunch. She happened to catch him cheating on her with her aunt, Marisol Frio. She broke up with him, and then started to date Dwight. Soon, tragedy hit the family as Emily Jones passed away in the backyard. Christian soon became a young adult and he moved out of the family. Melanie soon followed, and she turned Dwight into a werewolf like her. They both got quite good at it, actually. Soon, Dwight and Melanie were married, with their family in attendance. This would lead to the events that caused me to change the save name from Jones to Langerak. Fawn aged up to elder the same night as her daughter's wedding. However, tragedy would strike again shortly before Melanie gave birth as Christopher followed his wife into the Netherworld. This was all about the time that I got a used gaming computer from my brother, and I didn't have to deal with lag anymore.https://i.imgur.com/gZ7jzRm.jpgEric found out that his parents had a bot building machine upstairs, so he began to learn to use it. He never thought it would end up leading to his visit to the future. He was able to build his first Plumbot, a female model named L4U-RN. She basically became a maid around the house. A man named Emit Relevart appeared out of a time portal shortly after. Emit knew that Eric was the inventor of the first Plumbot, so he wanted Eric to see how important his creation would become in the future. Upon his return to the past, Eric became the grandfather to triplets named Abigail, Ariana, and Evan Langerak.

Quinton got a bad boy makeover due to the traits he had, but he would prove to be a good father, and a good husband. However, a baby was coming soon, and it wasn't theirs. Dwight got Melanie pregnant again, and she had her fourth child, a son named Michael. https://i.imgur.com/EPoj6z1.jpgBeing the heir to a wealthy family meant that Ariana didn't have to follow the rules that society set, and she proposed to Quinton who said yes. Melanie had to tell Dwight that she was pregnant, and he was ecstatic. Then, @CravenLestat sent me a Sim he created named Cori Lucas. She was a very poor Sim in my game, so the Langerak's took her in. They paid for her to accomplish her dreams in University, along with Ariana and Quinton. Ariana and Cori quickly became the best of friends, even though Cori is the shy and quiet type. However, Cori and Quinton always had a hard time getting along, no matter how hard I tried. When everyone returned home, Melanie ended up giving birth to Michael Langerak. This meant she had 4 kids. Ariana, Cori, and Quinton all uploaded their resumes and all got their dream jobs. Melanie also became a grandparent to Abigail's daughter, Sheena Langerak. Michael soon aged up to toddler, and the Langeraks did the best they could to get him prepared for life. https://i.imgur.com/z7E0AqE.jpgAriana had planted the Forbidden Fruit that Cori gave her, and this seed birthed a girl named Daisy Langerak. Of course, this added PlantSim genetics to the save. Quinton and Ariana were not married at the time, and since his genetics weren't part of Daisy, he only became her step-father upon marriage. Around this time, Toaster and L4U-RN fell in love as they both had the trait chips to allow them to do so. Soon, Daisy became a cute little, green haired toddler that looked like Ariana. Then, L4U-RN proposed to Toaster and they soon got married. For some dumb reason, I ended up kicking them out of the household, but it is what it is. I didn't quite realize it, but Quinton is actually a cousin to Dwight, so Quinton married a relative in a sense. I try not to think of it though, the game doesn't recognize that. She was the only child of Ariana's at the time, so it was her destiny to be the heir. Daisy and Michael had a great uncle/niece relationship, similar to how Melanie and Christian got along so well. Quinton then had his birthday where he aged up to adulthood. It wasn't long after that when Michael aged up. Then, I ended up pausing the save file for a bit to share a few past updates of things I never posted on the main story thread I have. They aren't actually considered canon to the save, so I'm not recapping them here. Then, Dwight had his elder birthday shortly after I resumed in the present. Emily came back as a playable ghost to rid the family of their werewolf powers, something I wished I hadn't done but it was too late to change it. And not long after this, Daisy aged up into a teenager, and was very similar in looks to how she is now as an adult. I ended up giving her a makeover because I felt she deserved it. She's actually prettier as an adult but not bad as a teenager. Abigail Langerak, Michael and Ariana's sister, gave birth to twins, which made the extended family even bigger. Langerak Family, Day 150This takes place on the 150th day of the save, it is also day 4 of week 22. I dreamed that when we woke up today, we decided to move to Riverview for some reason. Oh, and I had another child with Quinton.Melanie: Sounds like a dream I once had. I ended up marrying Quinton's father, Garry Sekemoto and had kids with him. Goth Family - Sunset Valley, Day 334 and 335

To start this update, I found Rose Langerak's ghost sitting on the couch watching tv.

In the previous update, I mentioned that a picture of Brandon and Lily as teenagers was in the background. Here is a closer look at that photo.

Once everyone woke up, I sent them all to eat breakfast.

As I was taking their picture, I panned around to see what was happening in the game at a Sims level. I saw Sims hanging around across the street, and one of them was Christa's sister, Belinda Goth. I took this picture of her as the sun was just coming up.

I also took a random front view of the family home. I have done a few edits to the house, but it is the same layout, with a few extra rooms added to areas already built. It was bought by Emily Jones in either the second or third week of the save, and we are currently in the 40th something week.

Since it was a day off, I had Christa go to the neighbors for a visit. Here, she met Buck Langerak, a born in game Sim. He had a weird haircut so I changed it, and added the facial hair. Christa had an aura going at the time, that's why the picture looks the way it does.

I had Christa bestow the Flight of Felicity on her younger sister.

Then Christa had a bit of a chat with Buck. She is attracted to him, but the only way I let my Sims cheat is if they do it when I'm not watching, or if I want them to. I don't want anyone to right now, but I'm not opposed to it if I feel someones marriage isn't working.

Oliver went out on a date with this Sim. Techinically, it was just a group but it was to see what I think of her as a potential spouse. I'm not sure I like her, especially after I took her into CAS.

At some point in the playthrough, Brandon and Lily woohooed because Lily had several romantic wishes, including that one.

Lastly, the band performed at The Grind. I let them all set up where they wanted to, and they just put their instruments down wherever.

Goth Family Day 336 to Day 340, part 1

When I first started the game up, I found Carly was visiting the house. If you forgot, she was the daughter of Cori Lucas, a Sim @CravenLestat made for me.

Then this guy kept causing Brandon to quit playing keyboard. I struck him with lightning, but since I accidentally hit it twice, the second shock killed him. A ton of people showed up to watch as the Grim Reaper sent him to the afterlife.

Later on, I found these two on the Goth family's front porch. I had Lily teleport them away with her burrowing powers from the Plantsim mod I downloaded. It basically burrows them into the ground, then teleports them to a random location in town.

At some point, something happened to cause Christa not to be friends with Belinda anymore. I sent Christa out to chat with her and they are now friends again.

Oliver wasn't having much luck with any of the teenaged girls, so he ended up hanging out with Elizabeth. It ended with him kissing her, which she reciprocated. The relationship is kind of a forbidden one, but it didn't go any further than kissing. Someone else is going to come along in the next update, though, so this relationship won't last long anyway.

Goth Family Day 336 to Day 340, part 2

On one of the days, the family ate breakfast together. I really need to remember to put some pants on Jacob.

That night, a burglar showed up. Oliver was going to fight them, but Jacob got there first.

Then it was time for Brandon and Lily to age up into adults. It was actually supposed to be the next day, but I figured that it was close enough.

Christa got another promotion. She's at the halfway point of her career, and she's still got 7 or 8 weeks left before she ages to adult.

A new potential love interest showed up when I was least expecting it. This girl's name is Melonie Sorenson, and she is related to a Sim that Elizabeth was married to. I checked her out in CAS, and I think she'll turn out okay. I'm going to have to stop his relationship with Elizabeth before I can proceed.

Goth Family, Day 341 to Day 343, Part 1

To start this part of the update, Jacob, Christa, and Oliver ate breakfast together. Lily did not join the family to eat, since she only eats when she wants to, being a PlantSim. Brandon has the Hardly Hungry reward, so he only usually eats about once per day, but he wasn't quite ready yet when I took this photo.

I happened to get a picture of Melonie Sorenson. A different angle might show her a bit better, but I think she looks like decent spouse material when she becomes a Young Adult.

Oliver decided that a relationship between him and Melonie was starting to form, so he did the right thing by asking to just be friends with Elizabeth.

Free from being a romantic interest to Elizabeth, Oliver was able to start flirting with Melonie. She was very receptive, and they were off to a good start.

Of course, it wasn't happy for Elizabeth. Despite their age difference, she really liked Oliver. However, she was actually cheating on her husband when she and Oliver kissed a few updates ago, so I don't feel that bad for her.

Since things were going well, I had Oliver confess his attraction to Melonie, then he moved in for their first kiss. He promptly asked her to be his girlfriend after that, and she agreed.

The family was invited to a party held by Nate and Belinda Goth. Christa wanted to go to see Belinda, but she wasn't even at her own party. I found her at one of the local swimming pools, relaxing on a lounge chair.

Christa did get to meet her niece, Sabrina Goth, though. Sabrina, unlike her mother, will have dark hair when she is older. It appears Sabrina will look like her mother.

The following day, Lily practiced on the bass. She has already mastered the guitar, the piano/keyboard, and the drums. To complete her newest LTW, she has to max out all 4. Jacob ended up joining in, just to add some more sound.

Brandon still needed a bit more on his cooking skill, so he started using the woodfire oven. His country bread turned out fine, but he burnt the lasagna.

Making food wasn't really enough to get him to the max of the cooking skill, so I had him buy the 3rd cookbook and read it at the library. That got him to level 10 in the skill. Now that he's an adult, I may have him join the culinary career.

Back at home, Brandon started reading the recipes he doesn't know. I'm not sending him to the vacation places, so he won't have those unless he learns them elsewhere. Oliver also read, but I'm not sure what I had him read.

I decided to throw a pool party for an end of summer bash. While waiting for the guests, Christa, Jacob, and Oliver enjoyed the sun.

Oliver was chatting with her father after Jacob, so Melonie decided to see what her mother was up to. She was asking Ivy for an autograph, but Melonie seems either really confused or very angry at Ivy. I laughed at the look on her face. In the background, Elizabeth is tipping Lily yet again.

Lily got invited to a party at the old Landgraab Manor. All the Landgraab's are deceased, and the descendants have all married into other families. Most likely, if I had longer lifespans, Geoffrey and Nancy might have had more children and the family might have stuck around longer.

Just for a quick history of what happened with the Landgraab's, let's take a little dive into their history in this save. Malcolm was the only child of Geoffrey and Nancy, and he ended up marrying Bella Bachelor. Mortimer married Bebe and Parker Langeraks daughter so that stopped a Mortimer/Bella relationship. Malcolm and Bella had one daughter, Anne Landgraab. Somehow, she ended up becoming a Keaton, whether through marriage, or if Bella got with a Keaton. Anyway, that was pretty much the end of the Landgraab name in the game. Anne was married at least twice, once to Otis Davenport, and also to Russ Andrews. Anne only had one child, Ivan Andrews. Elizabeth just so happens to be one of Anne's descendants. Christa and Belinda are also descendants of the Landgraabs, as are Chaim and his daughter Melonie, Oliver's current girlfriend. Also, I found out that Elizabeth is Melonie's grandmother.
