Well that's right, I like my little garden I have out in my backyard. Finding new seeds around town, planting them to discover new plants and fruits. It's pretty darn cool. Now I've planted eggs to make eggplants, cheese to make cheeseplants but there is one plant I don't know how I got.I have just discovered one of my plants has turned into a Money Tree. I didn't even know that was possible! How fascinating =DI don't seem to be able to pick it to be able receive money from the tree itself but yeah. Just a note about the Death Flower. Once you harvest the plant, it dies. You only get one flower from each plant, so planting the resulting flower is pointless, as you will only work hard to get exactly what you started with. The only exception is a sim who has the "green thumb" trait. They will be able to "revive" the Death Flower after harvesting (sometimes it will work, sometimes it won't) so they might get two flowers off one bush.Good news for those of you who aren't "green thumbs" (I am not). You can find Death Flower seeds scattered around town. They are one of the "special" (NOT to be confused with rare or uncommon) seeds. From what I have seen in my own game so far the "special" seeds have turned out to be flame fruit, life fruit, money trees, or death flower plants.I fertilized one of my flame fruit bushes with a Death Fish. DON'T do it. It immediately wilted and I was unable to save it, so it killed the bush.

@tc145 - I take it from your posting history that you are playing TS4. This is a TS3 thread from over ten years ago when the game was just released. You may want to repost on the TS4 areas of the forum as the two games are very different from each other, or post on the current help thread for New Members if you are indeed also playing TS3. :)

Your garden is fantastic reynbow. I saw your other pics on a picture thread. They are really good. My garden looks empty right now, i have just started getting my sims to plant fruit and veg.

i have the same question as the previous poster about getting cheese and eggplants, as well as how do you get an omni plant(i found 1 wild omni plant outside the science lab but cant seem to harvest it when it reaches harvest stage and planting all the unknown seeds around the science lab yielded other things like life fruit and flame fruit?

I think one of my seeds is growing into a money tree as well. its still in the growing stage so its unknown but its type of seed was special so im hoping its a money tree(my gardening sim has had a promised want to grow one for about 3 weeks lol)

Well I'm not much of a huge garden fanatic but I do like to keep a really nice looking well kept garden =P

I've only gone out looking for seeds twice. I should go looking some more to find some other cool plants. =P

You can also find seeds in the mausoleum in the graveyard and sometimes you can harvest the death flower be careful though as this will kill it.

thinking i'll quit my sims job and just hunt seeds :)

keep making a new sims the last few days so now have 4 started/saved.....
