This is really pretty! I always have issues with capturing subjects for my Sims to paint, they take the picture and when they start painting it looks too dark. Must be the lighting...

@TinySpaceFox, Thank you... :) Could be as I have done some when it was starting to get dark outside that didn't turn at good because of the darkness, so I think timing is a factor in trying to get good pictures of the scenery around you... :)

The first couple of still-life pictures that I did didn't really turn out all that great is they were spotty with black dots in the painting. So I found this mod over at the Mod the Sims website that removes them and making the paintings much more clearer... :)

This is a picture of my little birdie that I had put in CAP tool and then added the picture to my game and had my SS snap a picture of her so that she can hang this picture on her wall. I then decided to have my SS do a still-life painting of the same picture but it didn't really turn out all that nice. This was done before I had added the mod into my game, so I really need to try to have my SS do another painting of the birdie to see how it turns out this time... :)
