The Palmer Legacy Story

Hello, all. So I have been wanting to share my Sims Legacy story for a while now. I was told I could post it in this forum, so here I go. Now, bear with me. I am going to be rewinding things a little bit from my current situation, and starting from the beginning. That being said, there may be some pictures you have already seen, so I apologize if it seems redundant. I just thought it would be nice to include it in a story so, seeing it in context, it might be appreciated more. (Or not, who knows haha). Anyways, without further ado I give you:

The Palmer Legacy


Chapter 1

This is Zack Palmer. At 24 years old, he decided it was time to take the leap into adulthood, so he bought a huge plot of land...and a bed. He was very proud and was looking forward to building his dream house from the ground up. Now, he just kinda sorta has to get one of those job things... Money is important, right? Perhaps, he might also find someone to share it all with.

Ah, the great outdoors.

Well, Zack did find a job. He took the first one he could find, and it was with the local police department. His job was going great and he became great friends with his partner. Things were going very well and he was happy... Except he was romantically striking out. Everyone girl he met was either taken, or not interested. Zack was about to give up until one night after work, he was catching a late dinner with his work partner, Blair Wainwright, and he noticed something he had never noticed before. Blair was cute, funny, sweet, and oh yeah, his best friend. Blair was The One and she had been right in front of him the entire time. He hinted at his feelings and she coyly smiled and looked down at her plate, and Zack's heart swelled. Yup, he was in love, and the rest, is history.

Zack and Blair got married with the local court house as soon as humanly possible. Who has time or money for a big wedding, anyway?

    Chapter 2

    After settling into married life, Zack and Blair Palmer were content and madly in love. They also saved up enough money to build a little tiny house on that huge plot of land. Things were going amazingly well and it wasn't long before Blair discovered she was pregnant.

    The happy couple were ecstatic and it made them even more crazy about each other than they were before, if that was even possible.

    Blair was so excited, she felt like a child again!

    After a while that seemed like an eternity, Blair gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and named her Amelia. Zack was in love all over again, now, with two lovely ladies.

    The years went by, and Amelia grew and so did the Palmer family and, of course, the love.

    Chapter 4

    Amelia loved to play pretend and was Daddy's Little Princess.

    Blair loved her children and wanted them to learn and grow, so she read to them and helped them whenever they needed help with their homework.

    Chapter 5

    As the years went by...

    Amelia grew from being a child into her teen years...

    Being Daddy's Little Princess, it was difficult to bring home her first real boyfriend. The young couple tried to convince Zack that Jamie was worthy. It was a hard sell.

    Zack gave him a hard time, but finally he admitted Jamie was a fine guy and that Amelia was free to date him. Then prom night came and Amelia was looking more beautiful than ever.

    Not far behind Amelia, Benson was growing up as well.

    He was an awesome big brother to Adam and would play catch with him. Adam wasn't very athletic, though. It was the thought that counted though, and Adam loved his brother for hanging out with him.

    Chapter 7

    The Palmer family was as happy as any family could be. The kids were happy and Zack and Blair grew more and more in love with each other every day.

    Chapter 8

    Adam was watching his older siblings grow up and couldn't wait to be a teenager and do everything they got to do. Being the youngest was really hard.

    But Benson took Adam under his wing and made sure he had a great time. They really were best friends.

    Adam wanted to find love just like Amelia and Benson. He felt that maybe he wasn't cool enough, and a little nerdy, for any of the popular girls to like him, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to try. One night, he was walking around town and he saw the most beautiful girl he had ever seen at the local pool. He went over to introduce himself. Her name was Connie.

    They instantly liked each other, and stayed up all night that night, talking and watching the stars.

    When prom came around, both Palmer boys went with their girlfriends and had a blast. Zack and Blair insisted on taking pictures of Benson and Adam all dressed up and looking so handsome.

    Chapter 9

    Love was definitely in the air when Jamie proposed to Amelia. She was on cloud 9 and so excited like a giddy little school girl.

    The wedding was held in the back yard, and it was beautiful. All the friends and family came to watch Amelia go down the aisle. And of course, the Father of the Bride was getting teary eyed while he walked her up to give her away.

    Benson was a proud brother. He enjoyed himself, for sure. But it got him thinking about what he wanted for his future. He wanted to marry AnneMarie, but he definitely did not want so much ado over it. He was thinking he would rather just run away and elope the second he could. Who needs a big wedding, right?

    Chapter 10

    After Amelia was married, she moved away with her new husband to start her own life and her own family. She was sorely missed by all, but life in the Palmer household went on. People got older, graduations happened, life happened.

    Adam was so excited about his fantastic girlfriend, Connie, and he wanted to tell his dad all about her.

    Benson grew into a fine young man. After he graduated, he did just what he had been planning to do, and he ran away to get married.

    Chapter 11

    After Adam Palmer graduated, he decided on two things: He was going ask Connie to marry him and that he was going to stay put. He loved the house he grew up in, and let's face it, someone will have to take care of his parents.

    He wanted his marriage proposal to be romantic and special, so he decided to take Connie on a date to the place they first met: the pool. They had a great time and finally, he got up the nerve to ask her. It really was perfect.

    Of course, she said yes. Adam was so excited he wanted to tell the entire world! When he started to tell people around town, though, they were a little bit hesitant. They would look at him, worried. As the wedding got closer, he started to hear the rumors. At first he didn't believe them, but the more he heard, the more upset he was getting. Adam learned that he was not her only man. Not for a long time.

    Adam was so hurt and so embarrassed. He didn't say anything to her, because he didn't know how to. On their wedding day, though, he got up the nerve to say something, right before the ceremony began.

    They were both so hurt. She pleaded for him to forgive her and he reluctantly decided to just go on with the wedding and he would deal with things later. He spent too much money to have everything go to waste anyway.
