Funny how we all seem to play with the same world over and over. Yet we search for other worlds. What world do you play with the most and do you still search for other worlds. The perfect world. But is there a perfect world.

The big question is "What is your idea of the ideal sim world?" Most people would play for either the features of the world or the scenery. some people like the seaside, some people like the country, some people like the mountains. I would suspect that people change neighborhoods because sometimes they feel like playing in a big city and sometimes they play in a small town. Also, sometimes people might watch a movie or a TV show, like Dark Shadows, and want to play in a spooky seaside New England town or wherever the movie or TV show is in. Most the time, I play in Alfredsborogh or Prosperity Point. Both of them have the lots I want, and Prosperity Point has that early 20th century look. It would be fun to have enough in game clothes to play a city or town from it's founding to present day, though every few generations you'd have to bring in new families so everyone isn't related.

@Earcat Thanks for your input, I like small worlds becasue large words are to big for me and stress me out, to busy. I like small worlds, with a old home time feel. I like water falls, lakes, nice scenery etc. also I like empty worlds. I do not like small worlds with all small lots. variety is better. I also like to be able to delete lots and add lots. Don't get me wrong some large worlds are beautiful, but I just can't handle them. It is just me, By the way Dark Shadows was my favorite show. looks like we are giving our age away with that one. LOL.

I actually tend to migrate to different worlds.It all depends on what kind of family I'm doing, Praaven is by far the best medieval world, while Twin Towns is the best "everything world.Sometimes I play a small family in the middle of a rural world, for that I love Acadia.

My games are going so slowly that I don't really know that many worlds in the first place. While I have looked at quite a few worlds, I have only played in a handful, and that's mostly not because of any conscious decision. I have a game in Bridgeport, because that was the "default" of the starter pack I first got for the game. The game in Twinbrook got started when I bought Ambitions. I started something in Sunset Valley, because I wanted to see how the real Sims3 default world looks like. I restarted there because I thought about how you could improve it.I just recently moved a few sims to a a custom world in order to spice things up. I'm increasingly looking at smaller worlds when I need a few sims made. Given my sims are breeding like rabbits, I will probably see a few more worlds in the future, as soon as I have to move them out of their cramped homeworlds.

I have sims living in a variety of worlds and enjoy each one for what it offers. Currently, I have sims in Midnight Hollow, Barnacle Bay, Sunlit Tides, Moonlight Falls, Bridgeport, Starlight Shores, Dragon Valley, and two custom worlds Pixie Gardens and Sanctuary (based on Oasis Landing but turned into a homeworld)I prefer smaller worlds as my current puter doesn't like large ones or ones that are too busy. I use mostly EA worlds, but have a folder full of player-made worlds that I downloaded and will eventually play when I get the desktop fully loaded and ready to play. Some of those worlds that I have tested seem to put more stress on my laptop than it needs.My favorite EA world is Moonlight Falls. Love the small town atmosphere, the old fashioned houses and the empty lots that I can plunk down favorite builds of mine.I have not found the perfect world yet. I tried making one in CAW and my puter again didn't like how large I was making it. Someday... :wink:

I haven't been playing too long, and my taste is fairly basic. :p Haven't looked at Custom Worlds yet. Appaloosa Plains, Moonlight falls and Twinbrook are some of my favs so far. Appaloosa Plains is great because of the already existing pet areas!! I often play with pets and it's always nice seeing them have a blast here.

Right now I really like Twinbrook, it's always raining and so misty it makes me feel at peace with nature. It's super simple as a town, and I love the random railway tracks littered around my sim's house. It has a lot of character. :) Makes me feel secluded.

Personally, I'm waiting for a sale to get Late Nights and start looking for city builds? i want to see how people design urban builds. :D

I have a lot of worlds and it depends on my mood. I mostly use Bridgeport and Grey Meadow ( by Quailhogs ) though.
