Regarding the 'annoyance'... I have found an easy fix when this happens to me, so hopefully will work for you too...
That should solve the problem by removing both the tops and undersides of the tiles. Repeat the addition / deletion of temporary floor tiles anywhere else you may notice this glitch.
If you're unable to add the temporary floor tiles, you may need to remove the shrubbery first (and replace after the flyaway tiles are removed).

- Add some temporary floor tiles around the outside perimeter of the porch foundation to level the tiles (see where the grid is missing over the greenery... you can go a few tiles beyond just to be safe)
- Then delete the floor tiles you just added.
