The Sims 3 Soundtrack is still amazing!!

For me the soundtrack of the game is magnicficent, no. A Masterpiece. Every time I feel down they playing the soundtrack just gets me motivated and has the "2010" vibe which is mainly composed of my childhood. It's nostalgia yet still impacts me to be inspired just like in the past. What do you think of the soundtrack?

Hearing these music just get me want to fire up the game for some reason. The Sims 4 had some pretty cool music including the ones in the Vampires game pack, but somehow there is a "modernized" feel in these music. I don't feel those modernized music maybe that just my preference. The Orchestra in these music is even cool especially from the ones in the base game. The Sims 3 while not perfect, is where they you will see and feel that they nailed it in every aspect of the game.

  • In terms of actual soundtrack it's not my favorite Sims one (maybe I'm just tired of it after all these years? It feels more "sims" than TS4's so it get extra points for that) but in terms of radio choices, no other Sims game has the Darkwave station. It's not the actual genre of Darkwave but it is the station of music that I liked even before I started simming seriously, like Lacuna Coil. Soul, Roots, Indie, Electronica, and Geek Rock get a special mention too.
  • I like the game soundtrack of 2 more, but the radio song choice is fantastic in The Sims 3. As someone who grew up bopping to Gym Class Heroes, it was nice to hear a Travie McCoy (Need You) song appear on the radio under indie. And Double Vision by 3OH3 is a jam too. And let's not forget our mall goth KINGS, My Chemical Romance, with Na Na Na. As someone who's been a fan of MCR since the mid 2000s, this was huge to me!!

That Reminds me The Song in the radio are so cool. Some of them are even on my music playlist. These are just so awesome. Especially Time Bomb from the Generations Trailer!

Also can I ask how did you make the words be connected to the youtube/having a link? :)
