A word about husbands and Sims, my husband hates the board more than Sims (I spend too much time here) though he does roll his eyes when I talk about my Sims or stories, so I’ve stopped. I really wish he would read one of my stories as I really think he might like them, he is all gung ho with me writing a “real book” which I am in the process of doing, but frowns upon my Sims stories. My son Matthew and I were talking about the manga/anime Death Wish a couple weeks back and we brought up L (who is based upon one of the main characters in Death Wish (Light is the other main character though he is way out of character in my story..), I told my husband I had Light and L in my story and I showed him what I thought was a cute picture of L...he said “she’s pretty” I said L is a boy, he knew this he just likes being a butt about my Sims no matter what. He pretty much despises Connor, the Simmy love of my life (I keep my adoration of Jared to myself.. ;) ). I very rarely bring up Sims anymore, it’s one of those subjects we just avoid. It’s fine though, Sims are my thing..my quirk. ;)
