I'm guessing Fern is Lime's niece. The reason is, Lime's first kids would be older then Tap, having been born around the time Lilly lost her first baby. And Fern is roughly Tap's age, and we know that Lime had Parsley and Storm at that time. So, I'm guessing Lime had a sister or brother who has kids.
