I heard it fixes the Island Paradise Glitch and lag problems that are a legacy of the game. hahaha
@AftrNoonOvrRide : Mods allows you to add gameplay, fix problems, add contents, give more controls etc. I don't think sims 3 is sincerely playable without. And even to me, there are not enough mods made there is so much things to correct and to add.
