Transferring Saves Onto A New Laptop/Computer?

Sorry if this is a somewhat foolish question, I am not very technically inclined when it comes to computers. My laptop that I use to play the sims is really old and has recently started acting up. It's lasted six years but I think it's time to get a new one. I was wondering if there is any way to transfer all of my sims 3 saved families/households onto a new laptop. Any help and advice would be appreciated. Thanks :)

    Here you go:

You can use a file host website, e-mail yourself, flash drive, blank disk, or an external drive.
  • It's 2019, there are many ways to network computers together. And yet, the charms and reliability of Sneakernet still speak to many of us often.

What that means, for those who have never heard of it, is that you have two computers in the same room or building. You copy the files you want to transfer (I realize in this case which files to copy must have been part of the question) onto removable media like a flash drive, put your sneakers on, run over to the second computer, and offload them. Then run back and repeat if more files than the media can hold are required.

Unlike other modern network/file sharing protocols, Sneakernet never fails or kicks up errors unless you accidentally tie your left sneaker to the right one while doing up the laces in Step Two -- please consult your sneakers' user manual should you need further clarification on the correct procedures. :)
