TS3 Custom Content.

I only ever download from the sims resource and i havent had a problem until now. I've heard the horrors of bad custom content ages ago and decided i trust TSR the most. I'll probably check out some of the suggestions here though... I 100% always go for hairs because i like dyed tips and EA's makes it choppy whereas TSR custom hairs usually have a beautiful fade. good luck to you :3

Try this search link. You should get a LOT of male CC hair showing up.

Ah thank you so much. It drives me crazy. Every time I google for the Sims 3 it just gives me mostly Sims 4 results.

I hope you all don't mind me asking so many questions regarding custom content. I was kind of wondering which custom eyelashes are the best to use? The in game ones are lovely of course but they only work on the top lashes and I was hoping I could find something better.

It's not a problem at all. :)

I use S-Club's eyelashes paired with her eyelash sliders. The sliders only work with the S-Club lashes.

Lashes for toddler-child but these won't work with the sliders.

You will want an extra mod to remove the EA lashes with these. Otherwise, the overlapping doesn't look too great... The downside, all sims won't have eyelashes until you put them on. This is the one I use to remove EA lashes:

(The creator doesn't mention it but put this mod into the Overrides folder. That's where I put it since In my experience, it doesn't work in the normal Mod/Packages folder.)

It looks like the creator of the toddler-child lashes updated them to work with the sliders but you will need to use her sliders instead (enabled for all ages).

Are the CC lashes not showing up at all on the sim? Mind you, they don't just appear. You have to put them on first. I think you can find them in makeup > eyeliner. The face overlay I also linked should remove the EA lashes but place the file into the Overrides folder. The sliders and lashes go into the Packages folder like normal. *If you have no Overrides folder, you can make a new folder called Overrides inside the Mods folder.

If you want to stack eyelashes with eyeliner then you can use NRaas: Master Controller to do so since sims can normally only wear one thing per category. Nraas > Master Controller > Settings > CAS > Multiple Makeup per Location

Sorry to throw so much info at you. I'm sure it's confusing. :D

Oh, and the whole point of the sliders is so you can adjust the lashes in order to fit properly but having these extra sliders is optional.

Okay well placing the file on overrides was something I didn't know. They're working now. The lashes and sliders were working but the original EA lashes were still on my sim as well so it looked weird. :D
