I didn't spend much time in the game yesterday.
Last night, I decided to get rid of a lot of the CC I had installed for no apparent good reason. I did this by deleting the contents of my DCCache folder and copying the DCCache folder from my clean game that I use for building. Then I installed the CC that I actually want to use in this particular game.
When I opened my game I got missing objects warning and then saw a few strange looking sims in my house. It turned out that the store content I have installed in my building version of the Sims 3 folder doesn't include any of the sets or single items that have clothes or hair. I think my reasoning was that I didn't need special clothes or hair to build a house.
I closed the game and went through my purchase history and installed all of the sets and single items not in sets that have clothes or hair in them. I still get the missing objects warning when I launch the game. At this stage I'm assuming I had used some CC item(s) that I haven't reinstalled this time.
I think I'll try launching a new game in Twin Towns later to see if I still get the missing objects warning. If I do I'll launch my Downloads Dashboard and go through it to see what is missing.
The pictures I have today are all about my household and they are mostly at home reading fishing books. Those fishing books have taken a lot of effort for them to read. They have dropped their queues countless times. Always for very good reasons - hunger, tired, ghosts sitting down in the chair next to them.

Amethyst O'Halloran came home from a job wearing a new uniform. She has progressed to Level 2 in the Singing Career.

The household tends to prefer to sit around the dining table to read their books. Eric Genie went into the kitchen and got himself a meal after finishing reading one book - and lost his queue of other books I'd lined up for him to read.

Harriett has no fishing skill and can't read fishing books. I sent her up to the sweets shop in my Carters Corner Store build.

When I built this savvy seller store the bakery set hadn't been released and the sweets shop really only had decor items in it.
This is how it looks in the original version of the store.

When I add the store to my games now I move the trees and fountain outside and place them in various places on the lot. Then I put some bakery items into the sweets shop.
I have the NRAAS cupcake mod so the bakery shelves are kept freshly stocked and Sims can actually buy things they can eat here.
I rarely get my Sims to actually own the Savvy Seller stores.
I'm thinking of adding chocolates to this shop as well as I've downloaded some CC for a chocolate shop.
---------------------------------
I use the savvy seller stores I made in my games as a place my Sims can visit and buy things, or consign items they have made or grown.
Both stores have humble harvest stands.
Carter's Corner Store has an elixir register and a consignment register.
There is a nectary register in the Blue Building - although I added that later and the register is not in the version of the store I put onto the Exchange. Other nectary items are in the store.

Harriett bought a banana cream pie from the sweets store and I told her to eat a piece of it.
---------------------------------
Since I have a brain that told me the obvious place for her to eat it was either in the downstairs cafe--

or on the footpath at the front of the store,

I waited down there for ages but she never showed up.
Then I realised she is a Sim and doesn't have a brain. >:)
I had a bit of a think about where she might have vanished to and realised she probably went upstairs instead.
There is a furniture store up there and it has tables and chairs in it.

She took ages to eat that little piece of pie. She spent all day at the store and all she did was buy a piece of pie and eat it.
Before the store closed and forced her to leave I got her to buy a table and chairs I would like to add to their household.

The ghost of Moira's mother turned up for a little visit. She doesn't actually know any of the sims living in the household, the ghost gnomes must have invited her to visit.

Jules came home and sat outside in the dark to read her fishing books.

Ebony, the plumbot, loves to have her sprite out. They chat often.

The arrival of the ghost of Marcie and Moira's grandfather caused the household to drop their queues of fishing books to read.

I decided to make them read in the little reading room I made for the purpose. That seems to be working.

While the rest of the household are reading their fishing books Harriett used the tractor to water and fertilise and harvest the garden. Her gardening skill is now level 6.
Then she started building her fishing skill.
