The bottom level of their home lot is a very popular place for this household to be. They often find their way down there without any help from me.
I noticed some of my Sims learn fishing a lot faster than others. Not many of the fast learners have the angler skill. I wondered if the Sims who fish in the Wishing Well learn faster than those who fish in the ocean or rivers.
Eric seemed to be learning fishing much slower than most. When he fished in the river all day and half the night he only gained one fishing skill point. I hadn't noticed he was particularly slow at gaining his fishing skill when he went from 0 to 4 in the Wishing Well. But I wasn't taking a lot of notice of him then.
He was at level 4 when he started fishing in the river and only made it to level 5 by the time I remembered him in the middle of the night. During that time Harriett gained 3 fishing skill levels while fishing in the Wishing Well.
Some of the teens from my boarding school managed to get 7 fishing skill points in a single day while fishing in the Wishing Well. It could be related to other traits and perhaps some of them may have had the Fast Learner LTR.
I thought I'd set Eric to work fishing in the Wishing Well while Dora harvested the garden using the tractor. That garden is paying well and the household has more simoleans than I need to keep upgrading their home for them.

Harriett sat on the bench near the wishing well as she read her fishing bait books. Phil was tired and had turned into his werewolf form. Probably because he was tired he wanted to wish for happiness at the Wishing Well. It is a bit annoying that Sims want to wish for happiness instead of going to bed to sleep when over tired.

Unfortunately for Phil, he found Eric was fishing in the Wishing Well and it was not available for him to make his wish. So he stood beside Eric hopefully.

When Eric continued to fish - Phil started crying. He was actually wiping tears from his eyes. But Eric kept on fishing.

Eventually I relented and sent Phil to bed. Eric had to get his fishing skill up to level 7.

Amethyst was out and about - going to deliver a sing-a-gram. Rudy Rudd wanted to flirt and needed a sing-a-gram. Rudy is one of my oldish sims. He is an evil sim and can be funny to watch. I think he's joined the criminal career but I've not been watching him much so far in this game.
Amethyst found a small park with a carousel. Ella was standing there as well as a few other Sims I didn't recognise.

It turned out Rudy was there too and he got his sing-a-gram. The lady Sim he was with was in attractive company so maybe he didn't need the song to help his chances.

I was out looking around and saw the Briody house from the air in Autumn. I thought I'd post it just so you can see it. I usually seem to only see it at night when my various Sims visit it.
It looks like Amethyst is standing on their porch.

The dishwasher was broken when I returned to the home lot and Eric Genie was in the kitchen. So I told him to fix it. After he started fixing it, I noticed his foot was in the puddle. I wondered if a visit from the Grim Reaper was about to occur - but the puddle dried up and Eric was safe.
All of this household have one or many more deathflowers in their inventory so he should have survived in any case. I hope.

As usual Vince tried persuading the ghost to leave but, as usual, she was not about to co-operate.

I'm thinking of retiring Vince from this career and give him a stay at home type of job - such as a gardener or fisher or sculptor or something - anything but Ghost Buster. I want him to start taking notice of Dora and settle down to raising a family with her somewhere nice and safe and almost ghost free.
The whole reason I have Vince and Dora in this game is they were a married couple (autonomously) in the Sunset Valley version of the game. They stayed together for the whole time I played the game in SV and never tried to flirt (much) with other Sims. They were a nice couple. But I didn't play them and they were getting old and had no skills. So I got new versions of them and put them into this household where I could skill them and hope they got married to each other again. I think I'm going to have to start encouraging them.

I like having the greenhouse venue in my games and am glad this modified version of it is in this world.
There are lots of Humble Harvest stands at the Greenhouse and Maggie consigned a lot of her produce at them. She took the opportunity to gather some seeds while there.

Then I sent her to the Blue Building and she got there faster than I expected. I found her finishing her meal at the Blue Building's bar.

I found some of her previously consigned produce was still in the Humble Harvest stand at this building but I got her to leave some more - but not as much as I had planned to. I think I was supposed to remove the produce that was still there but didn't worry about it. If it is still there next time I might take it back.

The main object of the exercise for me was to remove the items from their inventories. I got all of the household to put items they didn't need to use themselves into Maggies inventory so she could consign them on behalf of the whole household.
They sell enough at the Greenhouse to more than pay their bills and allow me to continue to upgrade their home lot.
She visited the Humble Harvest stands at the Carters Corner store and the Street Market venue and found there was produce still at all of them. She added a little more and then went home. Tired. Exhausted.
As a matter of fact, she was so tired that when she passed the Black household she couldn't resist stopping off and having a sleep in one of the fairy houses I had placed there for the Black fairies to use.

Henrietta took a break from reading endless fishing books and studied her elixirs. She needed some honey and went down to the garden to smoke the bees and harvest some honey.

After gathering her honey Henrietta returned to her workshop. Dora was fertilising their garden.

Later that day Maggie decided it was time to build her inventing skill and had to visit the junk yard to find some scrap. She found Bob and Harry Koffi there.
