Unable to click on new housemate

I ask him to move in, he does, and then I find that his icon is unclickable. I can't have him do anything, only have my Sims interact with him. When I click his icon picture, nothing happens. My other 2 Sims are fine. I tried resetting all my Sims, evicting my household and his former household out of their homes, moved them back in, and this did not fix the issue. What also didn't work was resetting Sims and moving each family to different houses. Moving to a new town after Sim reset wasn't any help, either. I have deleted the cache files and other junk files in my EA folder. I included my mods in the above link.

There are two options you could have chosen to get him into the house.  One takes longer to get to come up.  Did you ask him to move in or to be your roommate?  Move in is what you wanted.  Be your roommate means he will take up a household space, but you have no control.  Like dorm mates in university.  You can try to split and merge the household. I hate how money works when that happens, however.  Make sure one of your sims uses their phone to turn off roommate services, or afterwards more random roommates may show up.
