I already removed all my games, then installed just the base game but it still wouldn't work. Do I still need to try resetting it?

Just posting to tell you, i haven't forgotten about this thread,
Your problem is very weird considering you have already uninstalled.. that should completely reset any and all game files.
I will research a little more and see if i can help you further :)
