University Homeworld???

So I'm looking into downloading Salmon woods, a custom world on Mysimrealty, and I noticed it comes with the option to add a university in the homeworld. I really like this idea as It would save loading times, etc. But I don't know the first thing about adding it other than using the Nraas careers module and rabbithole rugs. Can anyone give me the nitty-gritty on what the pros and cons are to having a uni in your homeworld?

I typically play with one household only (I don't rotational play) so will nonactive sims enroll to the university? I do plan on using Nraas mods such as SP and MC amongst many others. How does aging work with sims being in their homeworld? I have no opposition to changing aging for young adults to accommodate them going to uni if aging is a factor. What advice can you all give? I've been looking around online but I'm still a bit confused on how this all breaks down.
