University loading screen taking FOREVER to load! Help?

For the past few days I've been trying to send a sim to university and every time I send them off all seems fine, they drive off in the van and the loading screen comes on, the little bar gets more gr...

This is not a RAM issue. Something else is going on. I am experiencing this on one of my Saves and I have PLENTY of RAM to run this game.

-Have you moved anyone from college into your neighborhood?

-How long has it been since your last Sim went to the University Hood?

From another thread, this issue doesn't appear to be mod related but...

-Do you have any mods?? If so, which ones?
