University loading screen taking FOREVER to load! Help?

For the past few days I've been trying to send a sim to university and every time I send them off all seems fine, they drive off in the van and the loading screen comes on, the little bar gets more gr...

It is a solid state drive. I loaded sims a few times so it would take in Sims 3. And that's a big game..lol.

I'm not a tech nor do I put together computers (very ill for the pass 3 years and can't work, also had to give up college I wanted to finish my degree..-sigh). SO I can't actually say the exact thing it does, but my fiance can. He builds computers and works for a computer company where we live.

I will ask him..lol
