University loading screen taking FOREVER to load! Help?

For the past few days I've been trying to send a sim to university and every time I send them off all seems fine, they drive off in the van and the loading screen comes on, the little bar gets more gr...

I have this same problem except that it's when I leave the university. sigh. Saved the game under a different name and went back to an old save to try again. WE'll see if I can make it home this time lol.
