Entry 11: Double Trouble
Of all things that I stressed out about during my pregnancy (and trust me, there are lots of things) this was something I completely forgot about. I had twins. Two cute boys named Sam and Eric.

I thought about going in to labor early, I thought about being too pregnant for work and I even thought about sibling rivalries between Damien and the baby.
I am not sure how I spent nine months surrounded by my niece and nephew who are twins and didn’t think: ‘Hey, wouldn’t it be crazy if I had multiples?’ Good job Mika; Auntie and mom of the year award goes to…..not me!
Naomi and the twins have been doing great lately by the way. She has been reading a lot of books lately. Especially the Love&Ruin series by Beryl Heffner. She has also been reading to the kids a lot lately. Not from those books of course.

On a different note: I have noticed that both Matthew and Naomi are feeling way more comfortable in this wasteland now. They are laughing, messing around with each other and even restarted the great prank wars of our childhood.
When we were kids it would be our mission to prank each other to the point where you got so frustrated you stepped to mom which mostly resulted in lectures about responsibility. Today I saw Naomi switching Matthhew’s cards around while he wasn’t looking. She switched all of his good cards to bad ones from the deck while trying not to laugh in his angry face.

Times are looking up for us. With Damien celebrating his teen birthday soon and James and I both in our mid- thirties life Just keeps getting better at this point.-Mika
The Love & Ruin books are from the Heffner legacy by @Maladi777 It's a great story by a great writer who i really look up to.
