You might be able to get rid of the lines by enabling Anti-aliasing at the graphics driver level, at least if you have an Nvidia card. These AA settings work for some people but not others:
Antialiasing - FXAA: On
Antialiasing - Gamma correction: On
Antialiasing - Mode: Override any Application Setting
Antialiasing - Setting: 2x
To reach these settings, you'd right-click on the desktop, select the Nvidia Control Panel, then Manage 3D settings > Program settings, then choose ts3.exe for an Origin install or ts3w.exe (with the w) for a disc or Steam install.
