Weird signposts appearing around house?
For some really odd reason I've found theres been some signposts appearing around my Sims house at random like this https://i.imgur.com/4brvSXy.jpg I cannot select them in build/buy, shift clicking ...

I've had that, and it's related to fencing/gates. Trying to remember exactly, but I think it occurred for me when I had move objects on turned on and sat a gate in the yard while moving fencing. When I would move the gates later, those posts would appear. Someone suggested drawing fencing over the area and then deleting that to get rid of them, which I think worked. For me, for a long time before that solution came up, I resorted to placing trees over them to hide them. :D
I'll have to try that then! Thanks. Might be a bit difficult to get one of them since it's on the lot edge, but other than that. I don't think moveobjects caused it for me. I usually never turn it on, especially to modify my home.
