I love the traits, and I wish there were so many more! Unfortunately, I have read it is extremely difficult for custom traits to be made. I also know that some were added with EP, like the Star Performer (I don't have that EP yet)I was thinking and I wish there were things that you were gifted at specifically, like great singer (or perhaps tone-deaf could be another one to counter it), or great dancer, drawer (As opposed to artist. Or maybe the artist trait could have the option of choosing what sort of art, like painting, clay, drawing. Maybe they could have the option to sit down and sketch?)Some social traits could be like pathological liar and "always has to be right". Haha I think those would be hilarious.

I'd like a custom trait that allows my sims to give tech and mod advice to other players by way of their computers with no involvement from me whatsoever. o:)

I know this is Sims 3 topic, but I would love to see the Shy trait make it to Sims 4, along with all the mannerisms of the trait. It is my favorite for Sims 3.

A 'loyal' trait. That's all I can really think of. It would make sims less likely to cheat. I would give it to the sim couples I've seen who almost cheat on eachother without my intervention.Luckily I haven't seen anyone try to flirt with anyone but their partner in my household for a long time now though.Still think that trait would have been a good one.

Blabber - someone who talk a lot and bore the others (in my language we refer to it as "a digger")Hyperactive - someone really energized that don't sit for a moment and does everything quicklySlow learner - I feel like sims are getting skilled too fast without any (realistic) struggle. This trait could be interpreted in many ways. Binger - someone who exagarates in food, drinks (sorry, "juice") etc.Patriot - but not sure what it will mean in a sim worldIn general what I miss more are additional voices in game, since every voice/tone brings its own personallity.

What different traits would you have added to the game if you could?

What a great thread

Maybe “oddball” which would involve them rolling random wants that don’t make much sense.

Maybe “terrible cook” someone who burns and makes bad food more often, but get a special Moodlet when they do cook something decent

"Bubbly" - a trait I would have given my selfsim. I get all kinds of random thoughts that I just have to share. Especially when I'm overtired.

Oh, and for elders there should be traits like "telling pointless stories" and "falling asleep randomly". :lol:

I feel like there should have been an Outgoing trait. I know there is the Social Butterfly trait, but it characterizes sims as liking everything to be about them, center of attention, etc and it is the opposite of the Socially Awkward trait. There is a Shy trait, and I think someone can be outgoing (just good at making conversations with strangers to make friends, network, etc) and not necessarily have everything be about them.

Good question! I don’t know, really. I’m fairly happy with the traits we have now. Although I wouldn’t say no to any more silly traits, however. I love giving out chaotic traits to sims and unleash them upon the unsuspecting populace. Always gives me much entertainment :D

I do love the Shy trait though. I’m very shy myself so I tend to give my sims that trait. :p

We already have Shy (LateNite) and Socially Awkward (Uni) as traits in TS3. Possibly you are missing the required EPs or playing a different version of the game like TS4 if these are lacking?
