What do the colored borders in the relationship panel mean?

I started playing the Sims 3 again  recently (actually I have gone back and played all the versions a little) but I see red, yellow and maybe green? borders around some of the sims in my relationship...

FlamingoKicker  All these borders refer to different occult types.  I believe red means vampire, yellow is witch and green is fairy.

    There is probably also a border for werewolves, but I can't tell you what color it is as I have vampires and werewolves disabled in my games.
