Wait, first world problems include not growing old and never dying?! ? no wonder!!
On to the topic, I don't know honestly, I've always avoided playing with stuff that would made my sims immortal with the exceptions being vampires, I use stuff like ambrosia on sims that became part of my household at an advanced age, life fruits or the sauna to give them a couple of extra days but that's it. It doesn't matter if I get attached to my sims, they must die and leave a hole in my chest that their offspring ought to fill lol.
BUT! I'm currently dealing with this problem... kinda haha I have a family that has everything and often than not I wonder why on earth I keep letting them get jobs ? then I remember they have life time wishes that involve careers so... ?♀️, but my problem lies with the household space, even though I use Nrass Master Controller to have more than eight sims, I never go past something like twelve, as part of the household I have an immortal vampire I can't let go of, his fairy girlfriend, and their son, another vampire which I already know I'll be making immortal too, so in some sims weeks I'll have three spots taken with only one of them being temporally. As for the rest of the household, I have another vampire that won't be immortal, which means yet another spot taken for some time, there's his wife who is already an elder, then their children: one adult (the heiress) two sets of twins that currently are teens and the heiress' boyfriend.
I'm kinda stuck between waiting for the elder to die, moving the vampire-fairy family out (just to move them back in when there's more space lol), moving the vampire-elder out or just waiting 'till the teens all age up to kick them out :confounded:
So far I've been waiting on the teens but it's going so slow I have even considered starting over by moving out with the heiress and her boyfriend so I can play with just them
I guess what you could do is take a break from those sims you've grown attached to by moving them out... after all even if you don't like it in the end, you can always go back to an earlier save or like I mentioned, move them back to the main house at some point ?
